Role description
This position will be tied to the client in Harrisburg, PA. The role provides IT and technical support for public sector transportation agency(s), working with traffic management center operators and traffic engineers in using our Advanced Traffic Management Software to improve traffic operations. You will be a critical interface between the product team, client team, and end users, so good communication and relationship management skills are important.
Your key responsibility is to answer client questions, investigate issues, and either escalating or resolving them. Experience with customers and with public sector organizations is a definite plus.
- Provide day‑to‑day user support, answering questions and explaining processes and workflows to aid users in understanding system functionality.
- Troubleshoot device and system configuration issues to determine where the problem lies – code, configuration, user input, or external software/hardware.
- Maintain system configuration with devices, base mapping updates, and system parameters.
- Identify desired operational outcomes and implement system business rules to improve efficiency and support standard procedures.
- Analyze operational data and develop reports to help clients monitor and improve transportation system performance.
- Track reported issues and current resolution status.
- Maintain close communication and coordination with the Project Manager, other Traffic Operations Managers, and ITS Engineers/Technicians.
- Be available for on‑call support during infrequent off‑hour periods when needed.
- 2–5 years of experience in a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience providing user support for computer hardware and software systems.
- Or experience working with transportation engineering and traffic operations management.
- SQL
- QGIS or ArcGIS
- IP network system administration
- Ticketing support systems such as Jira

Salary range: $71,000 – $89,000.
