Senior ServiceNow Architect

ITnova is seeking a Senior Service Now Architect to provide services related to the planning, architecting, setup, and maintenance of core IT infrastructure and network capabilities, including but not limited to hardware and equipment, operating systems, software, database, middleware, cloud, mobile, and technologies.

• Architect, configure, and customize the Service Now platform while managing scalable data structures, tables, fields, and relationships.
• Design and optimize Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management workflows with defined SLAs, approval paths, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead development, workflows, project templates, custom fields, and permissions across both Service Now and Jira.
• Build advanced business rules, workflows, UI policies, and client/server-side scripts to streamline process orchestration.
• Integrations & Middleware:
  Connect Service Now with internal and external applications using APIs, web services, and orchestration tools.
• CMDB Ownership:
  Design and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring precise data modeling, CI relationships, and discovery tool governance.
• Establish platform roles, groups, and access controls aligned with organizational security and compliance frameworks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related disciplines, or equivalent
• Minimum of five years of experience in an enterprise IT environment supporting computer hardware, software, and/or enterprise applications at an expert level.
• Five years of experience as a Service Now architect, administrator, or similar role.
• Minimum of five years of experience designing and creating incident, problem, and change management modules in Service Now, developing and maintaining the Service Catalog.
• Five years of experience creating, configuring, and administering Jira projects, including workflows, issue types, custom fields, dashboards, permissions, and integrations with Service Now to support cross-platform collaboration.
• Minimum of two years in configuring and customizing the Service Now platform, including knowledge of tables, fields, forms, and workflows.
• Minimum of two years of experience managing user accounts, roles, and groups, enforcing access controls and permissions.
• Familiarity with integrating Service Now with other systems and applications.
• Ability to create and customize reports and dashboards within Service Now.
• Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and implementing CMDB.

• Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
• ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification.
• Eight years of experience architecting the Service Now platform.
• Five years of experience with Service Now development, including creating custom applications and modules.
• Five years of experience in performance tuning and optimizing the Service Now platform for scalability and responsiveness.
• Five years of experience creating, configuring, and administering Jira projects, including workflows, issue types, custom fields, dashboards, permissions, and integrations with Service Now to support cross-platform collaboration.
