We are seeking a mission-driven Solutions Architect with deep expertise in data architecture, cybersecurity frameworks, and cloud modernization to design enterprise-level solutions for federal government clients. This role is critical in bridging complex requirements with technical capabilities while ensuring security, scalability, and compliance with federal IT standards and mandates. The role will identify technology and solution roadmaps to improve mission enterprise capabilities, resulting in increased contract growth and improved customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Client & Stakeholder Engagement- Translate federal agency mission objectives into actionable technical designs
- Engage in capture and proposal activities, contributing to technical volumes and oral presentations
- Work across acquisition teams, program managers, and SMEs to ensure technical alignment
- Design secure, scalable, and compliant enterprise solutions for government clients
- Align architecture designs with federal standards (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST, RMF)
- Lead solution design across multiple domains including data, artificial intelligence, infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity
- Develop technical roadmaps, interface control documents, and system blueprints for proposals and implementations
- Architect hybrid and cloud-native environments (AWS Gov Cloud, Azure Government, or C2S/SC2S)
- Define migration strategies from legacy systems to secure cloud-based environments
- Ensure compliance with FedRAMP Moderate/High and agency-specific cloud security controls
- Integrate cybersecurity controls into system and data architectures
- Partner with ISSOs and security teams to ensure adherence to NIST SP 800-53, 800-171, and agency-specific requirements
- Lead architecture reviews to mitigate risks and align with zero-trust principles
- Design enterprise data pipelines, lakes, and warehouse architectures supporting secure, real-time data access
- Implement data governance and metadata management in accordance with CUI and PII handling requirements
- Enable analytics and AI/ML readiness within data platforms
- Develop AI architectures with varying frameworks and deployment models to devise and execute AI architecture strategies
- Be the key liaison between data scientists, data engineers, developers, operations (Dev Ops, Data Ops, and MLOPs) and business leaders to govern and scale AI initiatives
- Provide AI/ML technical leadership and deliver innovative products, services, or combinations of products and services that address specific business problems
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- Demonstrated experience supporting proposals, technical volumes, and compliance mappings
- 5+ years in enterprise or solutions architecture, with direct experience in federal government contracting
- 5+ years direct experience and demonstrable understanding of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services technology environment, programs and business priorities
- Hands‑on experience designing solutions aligned with federal cybersecurity and data compliance requirements
- Strong technical expertise in cloud (AWS Gov Cloud, Azure Gov), NIST RMF, and enterprise data platforms
- Current security clearance (Secret or higher)
- Industry certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, CISSP, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CCSP)
- Familiarity with procurement vehicles and government acquisition processes (e.g., GWACs, IDIQs, RFP responses)

Salary and BenefitsThe annual salary range for this position is $150,000 to $175,000. Actual compensation will depend on a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, location, other business and organizational needs, and applicable employment laws. All employees receive a competitive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
