AboutThe Role
- Lead and support the migration of on-premise corporate hardware systems into the WANDS/AWS cloud environment.
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure, including EC2, VPCs, networking, security controls, IAM, and related services.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to ensure scalable, repeatable, and auditable deployments.
- Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework principles across operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization, and sustainability.
- Perform Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) functions, including automation of operational tasks, system hardening, and resilience engineering.
- Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system availability, performance, and rapid incident response.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to improve system reliability and reduce operational toil.
- Identify and drive continuous improvements in cloud architecture, reliability, and operational processes.
- Sixteen (16) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is highly desired; a Master's degree in a technical field will be considered equivalent to additional years. A degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar will be considered.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.

- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKAD)
- Elastic Certified Engineer
- Elastic Certified Observability Engineer
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Dev Ops, CI/CD, and automation.

Salary RangeTarget Salary Range: $176,000 - $282,000. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
