Job Summary
Solutions Consultant – providing technical leadership and expertise in customer security transformation journeys, aligning solutions, and ensuring value realization.
Responsibilities- Meet and exceed sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans targeting cross-platform solutions.
- Understand key customer business requirements and position, demonstrate, and create high‑level designs across the PANW portfolio.
- Drive customer adoption of the Palo Alto Networks Platform and build relationships to increase productivity, efficiency, security efficacy, and flexibility.
- Conduct discovery to understand technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of prospects and customers.
- Work closely with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure implementation and adoption.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, influencing through presentations and demos, simplifying complex ideas.
- Lead technical validation efforts, ensuring technical win in assigned opportunities.
- Drive cross‑functional collaboration to orchestrate supporting resources for a one‑team approach.
- Promote end‑to‑end solutions that include PANW and/or partner professional services to realize business value sooner.
- Understand the competitive landscape and differentiate PANW's leadership.
- Continuously develop technical and professional skills and participate in the Solutions Consultant community and industry events.
- Identify technical stakeholders and cultivate relationships with key personas to build and drive security architecture transformation roadmap.
- 6+ years experience in pre‑sales/sales engineering.
- Skilled in at least one of Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint, or SASE.
- Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives.
- Ability to influence and gain buy‑in from key stakeholders in customer‑facing or internal roles.
- Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or validation engagements.
- Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.
- Partnering with Customer Support for successful implementation and adoption.
- Experience in complex long‑cycle sales with multiple buying centers and multi‑product solutions.
- Field sales position; travel may be required.
- Proficient in English.
Compensation range: $ – $ per year, with potential for bonuses and restricted stock units.
