Position: Solutions Consultant 2 - Federal Systems Integrators

Job Summary

Solutions Consultant – providing technical leadership and expertise in customer security transformation journeys, aligning solutions, and ensuring value realization.

Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans targeting cross-platform solutions.
  • Understand key customer business requirements and position, demonstrate, and create high‑level designs across the PANW portfolio.
  • Drive customer adoption of the Palo Alto Networks Platform and build relationships to increase productivity, efficiency, security efficacy, and flexibility.
  • Conduct discovery to understand technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of prospects and customers.
  • Work closely with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure implementation and adoption.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, influencing through presentations and demos, simplifying complex ideas.
  • Lead technical validation efforts, ensuring technical win in assigned opportunities.
  • Drive cross‑functional collaboration to orchestrate supporting resources for a one‑team approach.
  • Promote end‑to‑end solutions that include PANW and/or partner professional services to realize business value sooner.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and differentiate PANW's leadership.
  • Continuously develop technical and professional skills and participate in the Solutions Consultant community and industry events.
  • Identify technical stakeholders and cultivate relationships with key personas to build and drive security architecture transformation roadmap.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years experience in pre‑sales/sales engineering.
  • Skilled in at least one of Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint, or SASE.
  • Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives.
  • Ability to influence and gain buy‑in from key stakeholders in customer‑facing or internal roles.
  • Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or validation engagements.
  • Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.
  • Partnering with Customer Support for successful implementation and adoption.
  • Experience in complex long‑cycle sales with multiple buying centers and multi‑product solutions.
  • Field sales position; travel may be required.
  • Proficient in English.
