End User Engineer; Application Packaging & PowerShell Scripting

Job Description

Trigyn's direct client has a contract to hire opportunity (Temp to Perm full time) for an End User Engineer in Baltimore, MD (HYBRID). Client requires local candidates in MD/DC/VA.

• Application Packaging:
  Develop, build, and maintain application packages for deployment from Intune and SCCM. Ensure compatibility, performance, and security. Collaborate with software vendors and stakeholders to resolve packaging issues and optimize distribution.
• Intune Administration:
  Administer Microsoft Intune to deploy, maintain, and upgrade applications, configurations, and policies. Implement compliance rules, security settings, and stay updated on features to enhance device management.
• SCCM Administration:
  Administer Microsoft SCCM for software deployment, patch management, and endpoint configuration. Deploy, maintain, and upgrade task sequences for PXE imaging and manage scheduled deployments, compliance and reporting.
• Technical End User Support:
  Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, network-related problems. Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for other support teams. Resolve escalated incidents within SLAs.
• Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:
  Work with cross-functional IT teams, share expertise, train teammates, and maintain knowledge base articles and SOPs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Relevant certifications preferred:
  Microsoft Certified:
  Microsoft End Point Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified (name unclear), ITIL Foundation Certification.

• 5+ years in IT end‑user computing or endpoint management roles in enterprise environments.
• 3+ years hands‑on with Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) administration, including software distribution, patching, and imaging.
• 3+ years with Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager for device and application management.
• Proven experience with application packaging (MSI, App‑V, MSIX, scripting) and Windows 11 client environments, device compliance, and security configurations.
• Experience providing advanced technical support and acting as an escalation point for complex end‑user issues.
• Familiarity with Power Shell scripting for automation and deployment tasks.
