To evaluate, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the eMaint Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and the data integrity across the Maryland National Guard Facilities Management Branch (FMB). This position is the primary system administrator and data steward for eMaint, ensuring that all work orders (WOs) are accurately created, categorized, prioritized, tracked, and closed in a timely manner across all FMB sites and regions statewide.
In addition, this position leads the quarterly eMaint Backlog Assessment process—analyzing open WO data by priority, age, trade category, site, and region—and produces actionable reports and recommendations that enable FMB leadership to reduce overdue WOs, mitigate life‑safety risks, and shift toward a proactive preventive maintenance posture.
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct training programs for microcomputer users and eMaint system end users.
- Manage and control inventory of microcomputer hardware and software.
- Monitor customer service requests.
- Coordinate the maintenance and modifications of computer system applications.
- Education:
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. - Experience:
One year evaluating, implementing and maintaining personal computer hardware and software.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience utilizing an eMaint Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or an equivalent system.
- Experience monitoring customer service requests and work orders.
Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland with less than 5 points to operate a state vehicle.
