Job SummaryJob Title: IT Support Specialist (On-Site)
Location: Baltimore, MD 21227
Reports to: IT Manager
FLSA Status: Full-Time / Exempt
Work Shift: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. / Mon. – Fri.
SUMMARY: The IT Support Specialist assists the company in meeting its objectives and goals by supporting the IT Manager in the day‑to‑day IT operations and functions of the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Exceptional customer service skills, patient, well organized, and a good communicator.
- Expertise in computer software, hardware maintenance, and technical support.
- Experience with repairing, diagnosing, and upgrading PC hardware and basic network troubleshooting.
- Self‑motivated with a high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to read and interpret communication styles of diverse team members.
Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree in a related field.
- High School Diploma or equivalency.
- Microsoft Windows 10 & 11 Operating Systems support.
- Windows Server 2016 & 2019 Operating Systems support.
- Microsoft 365 Suite.
- Basic Microsoft Active Directory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple tasks and prioritize work.
- Integrity, honesty, professionalism, and commitment to company values.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Self‑motivated and able to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, strategic, technical, analytical, problem‑solving, and multi‑tasking skills.
- Build positive working relationships with multiple levels of employees, management, suppliers, and customers.
- CompTIA or Microsoft Certifications or comparable experience.
- Carbon Black or similar endpoint security technology.
- Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Autopilot or similar endpoint management technology.
- Position based in the Baltimore, MD office and is an on‑site position.
- Occasional travel in Maryland, Virginia, and Ohio.
- Work hours generally 40 hours per week but may flex based on business needs.
Requires sitting, seeing, talking, and hearing. Requires use of hands, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. May occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Language SkillsEffective communication, cooperation, and collaboration with multiple levels of employees, government agencies, general subcontractors, and suppliers.
