OverviewAre you a cybersecurity-savvy infrastructure expert ready to drive secure cloud innovation within a mission‑critical environment? We’re seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting enterprise‑wide IT transformation for a key DoD program. This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in cloud architecture, cybersecurity compliance, and modern infrastructure strategy in a high‑impact role.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as subject‑matter expert in secure cloud infrastructure, hybrid cloud models, and platform services.
- Design and assess cloud solutions in alignment with Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA) standards, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
- Develop technical requirements, build service catalogs, and contribute to XaaS specifications.
- Conduct market research and support the creation of technical portions of acquisition documents, white papers, and executive briefings.
- Ensure cloud security and compliance by implementing IAM, encryption, and network/data protection solutions.
- Perform vulnerability monitoring, security assessments, and compliance checks per DoD and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate infrastructure into the broader enterprise and document designs, configurations, and best practices.
- Support application migration efforts and provide infrastructure expertise to drive technical and business decision‑making.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent; one additional year of experience may substitute for a degree)
- IAM Level III certification (required)
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including 5 years in Computer Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements and large‑scale enterprise IT environments
- Proven communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts
