Litigation Systems Analyst

CGS is seeking a Systems Analyst to support a large Federal agency’s litigation efforts. The role involves defining system and project requirements, designing systems, translating requirements into development specifications, testing software, creating documentation, and mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities- Work directly with Government staff and/or under the direction of senior contractors to gather requirements.
- Define system and project requirements based on information from the COR, Government Case Managers, and trial staff.
- Design entire systems to meet defined requirements, including functional and design details, data elements, validations, capture mechanisms, and conversion procedures.
- Translate functional requirements into technical designs suitable for development of appropriate computer programs.
- Test software, preparing and using sample data for testing purposes.
- Present findings, recommendations, and specifications in formal reports and oral presentations.
- Develop systems documentation required in task orders.
- Consult with Government and contractor staff to ensure understanding of task objectives, identify problems, and suggest improvements.
- Provide technical expertise, direction, and supervision to lower‑level personnel; sometimes serve as a technical supervisor or team leader for a project.
- Report on progress to Government staff and superiors.
- Provide user and technical documentation and training for systems developed.
- At least three years of hands‑on, successful experience with the systems used in the role (e.g., setting up intersected Oracle databases in a UNIX environment).
- Ability to analyze system requirements and translate them into coherent system designs.
- Broad knowledge of Government IT environments, including office automation networks, PC and server‑based databases, and applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Supervisory or team‑leader experience is highly useful.
- Experience in automated litigation support is helpful.
- Experience with Relativity, Ready Suite (Compiled/KLDiscovery), and I‑Pro eCapture.
- Experience extracting data from media, manipulating data to conform to CFPB standards, loading data into appropriate database platforms, and reviewing data for processing.
- Undergraduate degree in computer science, information management, or related discipline.
- Relativity Certified Administrator certification.
