Senior Service Now Developer
CGI Federal is seeking a Senior Service Now Developer with extensive experience in various modules and services; experience as a Service Now Team Lead providing direction and assistance to the development team. This position is located in our Baltimore, MD office with work performed at client site in Woodlawn, MD 5 days/week.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Provide support as a Team Lead and as a Service Now Senior Developer.
- Analyze the customer requirements and develop a solution architecture that addresses the technical, management, maximizes automation, and provides operational reporting aspects of the proposal.
- Lead the development of solution artifacts, such as road maps, optimization of operations, architecture and/or block diagrams with a view outside of User Story requirements.
- Provide support in building prototypes and lead technical reviews and discussions of defined requirements.
- Provide support and mentor Service Now Developers.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor's and 7 years of experience, Master's and 5 years of experience or 11+ in lieu of a degree.
- 8+ years of experience as Service Now developer.
- Experience with AWS Cloud Management Platform.
- Excellent technical leadership skills and initiative to take on additional responsibilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to deliver technical solutions simply and succinctly.
- Experience with the US Federal Government.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
- 8+ years of experience with developing Service Now solutions across various platform applications, such as ITSM, ITOM (HAM and SAM), ITBM, CSM, Sec Ops, GRC, HR.
- 5+ years of experience with technical discussions and reviews.
- Experience across numerous parts of the Service Now platform and experience with commonly integrated third-party technologies.
- 5+ years of experience in developing system architecture, design principles, and impacts.
- 5+ years of experience supporting IT related data integrity (CMDB, HAM, SAM etc.)
- 5+ years of Industry experience (e.g. Financial Services, Healthcare, High Tech, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.)
- 5+ years of technical leadership experience driving change/solutions.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
- Additional Service Now CIS certification with preference for the following:
- Certified System Administrator (baseline)
- Certified Application Developer (baseline)
- CIS – Customer Service Management
- CIS – IT Service Management
- CIS – Discovery
- CIS – Service Mapping
- CIS – Strategic Portfolio Management
- CIS – Application Portfolio Management
- CIS – Software Asset Management
- CIS – Hardware Asset Management
- Experience with Web development, including technologies such as X-HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, Angular and JavaScript, PHP,.NET, or Java.
- Experience with implementing Java scripting to support automation across the various modules in Service Now.
- Experience with REST and SOAP web service protocols.
- Experience with Business Rules, Workflow, Identification Rules, Work spaces and External Portals.
- Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP.
- Specialized Service Now Developer Certifications, including ITSM, HAM, SAM, ITBM, CSM, Sec Ops, GRC, TRM/APM or HR.
- Project Management or Agile certification.
- ITILv4 Foundations Certification.
- Ability to work in a high growth, fast paced environment.
