Overview

Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment Team to support Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) operations through the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) / Mission Planning Environment (MPE). The role is based in Patuxent River, MD, and requires cross‑training across databases, networks, systems, security, and mission planning as a Multi‑Function Information Systems Analyst.

• Interact daily with users and ALIS/LM leadership.
• Maintain system/database/software/firewall/account security and performance.
• Coordinate with peers, Tier 2 support, and engineers to ensure smooth, secure operation of multi‑user computer systems.
• Imaging laptops, troubleshooting, and account maintenance.
• Regularly monitor systems and applications for availability and performance.
• Train ALIS and Mission Planning Environment administrators and users on system usage.
• Perform COMSEC CRO duties and train others on COMSEC requirements.
• Support pilots in mission planning/debriefing and resolve system shortfalls.

• Secret security clearance or higher with investigation within the last six years.
• DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA).
• Experience in system, database, network, or mission planning administration.
• Prior network administration experience is desired.
• Ability to obtain and hold Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
• US citizenship required.
• Experience working for or supporting the U.S. military or foreign military.

• Application troubleshooting.
• Account maintenance with Active Directory, Oracle, or CRM.
• Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers, virtual machines, databases and network equipment.
• Virtual machine management (Hyper‑V or VMware).
• Hardware maintenance and rack component startup/shutdown.
• Patch management, anti‑virus, anti‑spyware updates.
• Red Enterprise Linux system administration.
• Importing and exporting large data volumes.
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and JSF ALIS hardware and software.
• COMSEC experience.

Work location:

PAX River NAS, Patuxent River, MD – onsite full‑time.

•

Schedule:

Non‑standard 40‑hour week, including rotating shifts and occasional weekends, as required by mission.

• Salary range: $85,500 – $150,765 (dependent on location).

• This position requires a U.S. security clearance and the holder must be a U.S. citizen.
