Overview

Provides assistance installing, implementing, maintaining and upgrading internal information systems including network infrastructure, end-user workstations, servers and business system applications.

Responsibilities

Software and hardware installation
Workstation deployment and redeployment
System backup and data recovery operations
Security policy enforcement and maintenance
Support and administer third-party applications
IT asset administration
Maintaining, upgrading and configuring operating systems
Resolve problems reported by end users
Basic network and server update and administration
Research and make recommendations on latest trends

Qualifications & Skills

Obtain and maintain DoD Secret security clearance
Windows 10 operating system
Windows Server 2012 and 2016
Windows Power Shell
Active Directory (user, computer, and group) administration
DNS and DHCP configuration
Group Policy management
Folder sharing and permissions
Firewall and VPN administration
VOIP system administration
Networking and virtualization concepts
Great at organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking
Basic cybersecurity principles
