Technical Project Manager – Corporate Security Systems
Our client, a leader in the energy industry, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join their team. As a Technical Project Manager, you lead technical initiatives within the Corporate Security domain, supporting critical infrastructure and regulated environments. This role will sit on the IT side while partnering closely with corporate security stakeholders and business teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication, structured delivery discipline, and experience working in compliance-heavy environments.
Location:
Baltimore, Maryland (Remote Available)
Pay Range: $70/hr - $75/hr
What's the Job?- Lead end-to-end delivery of Corporate Security initiatives, including badging systems and access/security platforms
- Manage multiple work streams within broader programs, such as application transitions and system integrations
- Own and oversee project budgets typically ranging from $2M to $5M per workstream
- Maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, RAID logs, and status reports using tools like Service Now
- Provide weekly updates to senior leadership through formal portfolio reporting sessions.
- Coordinate across IT, Corporate Security, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., NERC environments).
- 7+ years of Technical/IT Project Management experience within enterprise environments with ability to quickly understand and adapt to both technical systems and business context.
- Experience driving projects focused on Corporate Security or Physical Security systems such as badging and access control.
- Hands-on experience managing and maintaining RAID logs for project tracking and proactive decision-making.
- Strong understanding of regulated or compliance-driven environments with strong situational awareness in sensitive/security-focused environments.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple work streams effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder management and a polished communicator who is able to engage structured, mission-driven stakeholders and executives.
- Ability to present clearly and professionally in high-visibility settings.
