** Data Science Intern
** to join our Oncology Team located in

* Job Responsibilities:

*
* + Support development and evaluation of bioinformatics pipelines and internal tooling

+ Contribute to technical documentation

+ Learn development processes in an agile setting

+ Familiarize yourself with genomics results and aid in harmonization of genomic results for precision oncology products

*
* Minimum Qualifications:

*
* + Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Life Sciences, Data Science, Bioinformatics or Computer Science

*
* Preferred Qualifications:

*
* + 3-6 months experience with data and/or software, working with Next-Generation Sequencing data and/or tooling

+ 3-6 months experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting

** Additional Job Standards:*
* + Have an interest in oncology, genomics, data science and/or bioinformatics

+ Show initiative and the ability to work independently under general supervision

+ Maintains professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct

+ Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

+ Actively participates in training sessions and applies newly learned skills accordingly

+ Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders

+ The Bioinformatics and Data Science team is a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists providing bioinformatics and data science support for the Oncology portfolio.
