Deputy Sheriffs are sworn law enforcement officers responsible for enforcing court orders, providing courtroom security, serving legal process, and supporting the civil justice system within Baltimore City.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware, servers, and network systems.
- Provide technical support for Office staff, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and cybersecurity protocols.
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of law enforcement software systems.
- Maintain data backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Coordinate with city IT and third-party vendors for system upgrades and maintenance.
- Support audiovisual and technology needs for court operations and agency events.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commission certification (or ability to obtain).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to meet physical fitness requirements.
- Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening.
