description

the candidate reports to the cio services task lead and manages a technical team embedded in a us government partner site. This position leads data architecture and engineering, records management, knowledge management, and data science initiatives. This role is a hybrid between an individual contributor, leading implementation by example, and the administrative oversight of 10-20 engineers – this position works collaboratively with project management teams for requirements prioritization and reporting.

• be a us citizen who actively holds a security clearance at the ts (top secret) clearance level or higher
• bachelors degree in one of the following: computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, information technology, math, or physics
• minimum five years of post-graduate professional experience
• minimum of one year of experience in the last three years leading and supervising teams
• minimum of three years' experience in the last ten years with the building, operating, securing, defending, and extending network infrastructure
• minimum of two years' experience in the last seven years leading and supervising personnel developing and implementing  data lakes  and other aspects of modern data strategies
• experience as a data scientist, data engineer, or related field
• project management professional (pmp) certification
• certification compliant with dod 8570 iat ii (e.g., security+)

• proficiency with microsoft office products for efficient communication, reporting, and presentation
• experience managing services in amazon web services and azure
• experience integrating artificial intelligence into daily workflows for process improvement
• certifications in amazon web services and azure, architecture-focused preferred
• certification compliant with dod 8570 iat iii (e.g., cissp)

the hourly wage range is: $48.08 - $108.17
