Associate Account Manager / Client Services Associate – Employee Benefits

We're a growing employee benefits consulting firm in the DMV area looking for an Associate Account Manager / Client Services Associate to support our Account Management team.

This is an employee benefits consulting support role focused on assisting with client service delivery, renewals, and benefits administration.
Small-group renewal processes and procedures experience is required.

You'll work closely with experienced Account Managers to help manage a book of employer clients and ensure accurate, timely execution of deliverables.

• Support day-to-day client servicing activities for employer benefit plans
• Assist with small-group renewals, including obtaining quotes, preparing renewal comparisons, coordinating carrier communications, and managing renewal timelines
• Support open enrollment preparation and employee communications
• Coordinate with carriers and internal teams on plan updates, renewals, implementations, and changes
• Help prepare reports, spreadsheets, and client deliverables
• Maintain accurate client records and data in internal systems

• 2–5 years of experience in employee benefits, insurance, or client service/account management
• Experience supporting or managing small-group renewals, including carrier coordination and client communications
• Familiarity with carrier requirements and renewal/implementation processes for Care First, United Healthcare, and Kaiser preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and Excel/Office skills
• Interest in building a career in employee benefits consulting
