Associate Attorney – Insurance Coverage

Join a respected law firm as a highly motivated attorney specializing in insurance coverage. This role offers the opportunity to represent both international and domestic insurers on a variety of liability policies, including directors and officers, employment practices, professional liability, commercial general liability, and commercial auto liability. Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in insurance coverage.
  • Admitted to practice in California; additional bar admissions are a plus.
  • Strong background in complex insurance coverage matters; litigation experience is a plus.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Analyze rights and obligations under insurance policies and draft coverage opinions and position letters.
  • Conduct rigorous legal research, analyze findings, and draft memoranda.
  • Prepare and analyze pleadings, discovery, motions, supporting briefs, and legal correspondence regarding insurance coverage.
  • Meet and confer with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
  • Attend arbitrations, hearings, and mediations as needed.
  • Proactively manage matters, deadlines, and communication with clients.
