Paralegal

A leading family law firm in Baltimore is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join its team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and skilled in supporting attorneys across a range of family law matters.

• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery documents, and settlement agreements
• Manage case files, deadlines, and attorney calendars
• Conduct legal research related to family law issues
• Prepare trial materials including exhibits and trial notebooks
• File documents through MDEC and follow Maryland court procedures
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel professionally and promptly
• Assist attorneys during hearings and trial prep as needed
• Support billing and time entry processes

• 3+ years of family law paralegal experience (Maryland experience strongly preferred)
• Solid understanding of Maryland court rules and MDEC filing
• Exceptional drafting, writing, and proofreading skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, empathetic communication style with clients
• Experience with legal software and Microsoft Office
• Paralegal certificate or related degree preferred, not required
• Competitive salary range: $65,000–$85,000
