Piper Maddox are partnering with a fast-growing company operating within the renewable energy and sustainability infrastructure space, to find a motivated and highly organized Paralegal to join its respected in-house Legal team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to gain meaningful exposure to complex project finance transactions while working closely with experienced legal, project, and commercial teams.

About the Role

As a Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting the Legal Department across the full lifecycle of project finance transactions; from inception and diligence through to closing and ongoing operations.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing and reviewing key project documentation Managing transaction documentation, data rooms, and closing materials
  • Assisting with closings, including preparing binders and filing FERC Forms 556
  • Maintaining organizational records for project entities
  • Supporting legal and site diligence (including review of title, survey, and Phase I ESA reports)
  • Collaborating with internal teams (Legal, Project, Commercial) and external stakeholders to drive transactions forward

Experience & Background
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience preparing documentation and managing transaction processes
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certification
  • Experience with commercial real estate diligence (title, survey, Phase I ESA) is strongly preferred
  • Renewable energy experience is helpful but not required
  • Law firms or industries involving physical assets (property, infrastructure, manufacturing, etc.) are suitable background for this role
