SummaryMorgan & Morgan is looking for an experienced Premises Liability Personal Injury Attorney to join its growing practice of plaintiff’s personal injury lawyers and supporting case staff in our Detroit office. The role handles a heavy and complex caseload from pre‑litigation through trial, including slip and fall, security negligence, wrongful death, dog bite/animal attack and other premises liability matters in Wayne County and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities- Day‑to‑day handling of both pre‑litigation and litigation cases
- Drafting and filing of litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memoranda law
- Guiding plaintiff clients through the case process
- Interacting with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
- Attending and preparing for depositions, mediations, hearings and court appearances
- Law degree (J.D./JD/Juris Doctor) from a fully accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association (Michigan required)
- Minimum 2+ years of personal injury/premises liability experience
- Ability to manage a high volume of pre‑litigation and litigation cases
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
