Responsibilities

The Storeroom Clerk is an integral part of the Materials Resource Center. Duties include accurately filling customer requests from the MAIN Storeroom, filling requests for Inventory Coordinators, maintaining proper stock levels through accurate transactions and cycle counts, and keeping the storeroom neat and orderly. Additional tasks include putting away arriving stock, covering the storeroom phone and equipment pager, and assisting with linens as needed.

Skills and Abilities
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Meditech (if applicable).
  • Ability to work independently and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
  • Flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Inventory skills and computer literacy with a commitment to learning within 6 months.
Compensation

USD $17.83 per hour min – USD $26.75 per hour max.
