Driver
Under limited supervision, drive a shuttle vehicle on GBMC's campus on fixed routes, on-demand, and other transport related services. Provides patients and visitors with knowledge and assistance in way finding and organizational information to ensure a timely arrival to their destination. Provides daily vehicle inspections and reporting in accordance with departmental policy and procedure. Assist with event parking when needed. Performance other duties as assigned.
Education- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- One year working experience and one year of driving experience
- Professional character with all patients, visitors, and staff
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to positively engage with patients and visitors to ensure a positive experience
- Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment and to react with discretion under varying conditions
- Valid Driver's license which must be maintained throughout employment
- CPR Certification within 90 days of employment that must be maintained throughout employment
- Prolonged periods standing, sitting, and walking
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 20 pounds
- Ability to work and drive in the elements of heat, cold, rain, and snow.
- As a condition of continued employment, employee must maintain current active status of all required licensures, competencies, and certifications
- Standard precaution policy and procedures are applicable to this job
- Employee has knowledge and understanding of patient safety as it relates to the job duties
- Acknowledge, greet, and welcome patients/visitors
- Assists patients/visitors with valet needs
- Ensure vehicle is maintained and cleaned daily
- Comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
- Clarifies parking rates and valet procedures to patients and visitors
- Daily collection and categorization of process parking ticket transactions
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by following standards and procedures
- Report any accidents to manager on duty
- Treats others with fairness, kindness, and respect for personal dignity

$17.13 - $21.69
Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
