Logistics Coordinator

Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a growing organization that's looking to add an experienced Logistics Coordinator to their team. In this role, you'll help coordinate domestic and international shipments, work closely with vendors and customers, and support logistics operations throughout a global market. You'll play a key role in ensuring shipments move efficiently while helping resolve transportation, customs, and documentation issues.

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, with an emphasis on foreign-to-foreign logistics.
• Manage export documentation and ensure customs compliance for U.S., Canadian, and international shipments.
• Communicate daily with suppliers, consignees, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics vendors.
• Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve shipping challenges and ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor shipment status, troubleshoot issues, and escape critical matters when necessary.
• Help drive process improvements while positioning yourself for future leadership opportunities.

• 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, import/export, customs, or international transportation.
• Fluent in Spanish (written and verbal) is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• A proactive, customer-focused mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Someone who is eager to grow into a future leadership or management role.
