Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 per year
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Coordinator to support our client's transportation and logistics team. In this role, you will serve as a critical link between dispatch, drivers, customers, and internal departments, helping ensure shipments move efficiently from pickup to delivery.

What You'll Do:Transportation & Systems Coordination
- Manage and maintain shipment and load information within the Transportation Management System (TMS), ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Create, update, and finalize dispatch records and customer orders.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively identify delays, exceptions, or service concerns.
- Coordinate updates related to appointment scheduling, routing changes, and delivery status.
- Support operational reporting, billing processes, and data integrity initiatives.
- Maintain load tracking tools, reports, and operational dashboards.
- Partner with dispatch teams to provide real-time shipment visibility and operational support.
- Communicate service updates and potential disruptions to key stakeholders.
- Escalate critical transportation issues and assist with problem resolution.
- Support load planning activities through administrative coordination and follow-through.
- Help ensure customer commitments and service expectations are consistently achieved.
- Organize and maintain transportation documentation and operational records.
- Assist with document management, scanning, filing, and record retention processes.
- Generate reports, spreadsheets, and performance-related data as needed.
- Support process improvement projects and departmental initiatives.
- Perform additional operational and administrative duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate's degree preferred. - Experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, operations, customer service, or administrative support preferred.
- Experience with transportation software platforms (McLeod experience is a plus).
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
