We are searching for a Purchasing Manager for a growing healthcare client in Anne Arundel County. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the implementation of the supply and production strategies.
Responsibilities- Procure services / parts /materials at negotiated rate
- Work GPOs and local contracts for 10 subsidiaries
- Inventory management, order controlling, partnering with facilities
- Working through New Site Checklist (HVAC, Watercooler, pest control, etc)
- Develop a supply and production plan to ensure timely delivery to our customers
- Create and monitor the performance of the purchasing strategy
- Oversee and support purchasing staff (1)
- 4+ years' of negotiation experience
- 4+ years' of purchasing experience
- Healthcare industry experience required
- Bachelor's preferred
- Supervision / leadership experience preferred
