Machine Operator Job Description
Work independently in a coal plant environment from Wednesday to Saturday nights. Responsible for monitoring machines and managing coal samples for quality assurance.
ResponsibilitiesMonitor machines to ensure smooth operation and quality output.
Collect and prepare small samples of coal for corporate analysis.
Identify and report any machine malfunctions or 'red flags' for repair.
Perform tasks that may require climbing ladders and working at ground level.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Proficient in machine operation and general labor tasks.
Strong maintenance skills and mechanical repair aptitude.
Basic computer skills for data entry and monitoring systems.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with forklifts, inventory management, and assembly is beneficial.

Work EnvironmentThe position is based in a coal plant, which is an outdoor environment that can be very dirty. Candidates must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions. Safety gear, including full boots with an internal guard, is required.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
