General Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for an energetic, skilled and personable General Maintenance Engineer to join our team. You’ll play a vital role in creating exceptional and functional working spaces for our guests while assisting the team in maintaining operations on the day to day.

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible primarily for general maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance in/on:

• Guest rooms
• Meeting space
• Front of house areas
• Back of house areas (kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems)
• Major equipment & systems using a Windows based computer system

The hourly rate for this position is $26.84/hr this position is eligible to earn overtime, shift differentials and premium pay under certain circumstances, tips, commissions, service charges, or incentive awards.

• A minimum of one year building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred.
• Good customer skills are also required.
• Must be able to lift, pull, or push approximately 70lbs and must be able to stand for 95% of the shift.
• Must have scheduling availability for morning and afternoon shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Entry level expertise in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields desired.
