- This position travels nationally 10–15% of the time.
As a Director within our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice, you will serve as a high-level strategic leader within our nationally acclaimed M&A group. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who can navigate the complexities of both buy-side and sell-side transactions while simultaneously driving the growth and vision of the practice. You will be responsible for leading multiple high-stakes financial due diligence engagements for Private Equity Groups (PEG) and strategic corporate buyers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, responsive work products that exceed client expectations.

- Oversee and manage a portfolio of challenging financial due diligence engagements, providing senior-level oversight for complex acquisitions and divestitures.
- Utilize proven commercial acumen to identify new business opportunities, enhance go-to-market strategies, and expand the firm’s footprint within the M&A advisory space.
- Develop and deliver sophisticated planning approaches, ensuring all work products provide deep value and actionable insights to sophisticated investors.
- Lead, motivate, and inspire multi-disciplinary teams. You will be responsible for creating a culture of trust, leveraging diverse perspectives, and coaching staff members to achieve their long-term career goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to private equity investors and corporate executives, managing high-level relationships and ensuring the firm remains a primary partner for their transaction needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Approximately 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years focused exclusively on Financial Due Diligence (FDD).
- A proven track record within a Big Four or similar top-tier consulting environment is required.
- Significant experience servicing Private Equity Groups (PEG) and a deep understanding of the unique requirements of institutional investors.
- A documented history of success in building and growing a Transaction Advisory Service practice or a similar professional services line.
- Proven ability to supervise staff both on specific engagements and throughout their professional development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated knowledge and a track record of success operating within a large-scale professional services firm or global consultancy.
