In collaboration with the Director of the Department of Pediatrics, the Operations Administrator implements key components of operations for the department. The role includes direction of strategic objectives related to access, throughput, workflow efficiency, patient experience, and key compliance initiatives. The administrator manages departmental subspecialty day-to-day activities and associated administrative tasks to promote efficient operations.

The role oversees business functions including patient access, scheduling, revenue cycle operations, performance monitoring and reporting. It participates in accounts receivable and payable functions. The administrator supports delivery of high-quality, cost-effective patient care in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines. The role exercises administrative judgment and assumes responsibility for decisions that impact people, costs, and quality of service within the Department.

When assigned, the administrator serves as acting Director in the Director’s absence.

• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Master’s preferred.
• Seven or more years of related experience as a Practice Manager running multiple offices; supervisory experience required.

Salary range: $90,000 to $105,000, dependent on experience and internal equity.
