We are hiring a Project Manager MADAP for one of our clients in Baltimore, MD.
Job DescriptionThe Project Manager is responsible for leading IT projects through the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, change management, vendor coordination, and successful delivery. The role requires experience leading technology modernization initiatives and migrating legacy systems to scalable, modern architectures.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day project activities, scope, schedule, budget, resources, and deliverables.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Coordinate project activities with business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Develop project plans, work breakdown structures, status reports, and project documentation.
- Oversee vendor performance, contract deliverables, and issue escalation.
- Lead stakeholder communication, organizational change management, and user adoption activities.
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions to improve outcomes.
- Drive continuous process improvement and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Master's degree or Project Management certification preferred.
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- 5+ years managing IT projects with responsibility for successful delivery.
- Leadership experience delivering multiple complex projects on time and within budget.
- Experience managing technology modernization and legacy system migration projects.
- Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management skills.
- Expertise in risk, issue, vendor, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with project governance, quality assurance, testing, and change management.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.
- Experience managing large-scale enterprise IT modernization initiatives.
- Experience implementing enterprise healthcare or case management solutions.
- Experience supporting complex, regulated technology environments.
