This Division Chief position leads the Compliance and Special Projects division within the Maryland Department of Health's Office of Innovation, Research and Development. The role manages operational efficiency initiatives, oversees H.R. 1 project implementation, and provides managerial leadership to IRD staff while representing the office at stakeholder and internal meetings. The position is Grade 20 and located in Baltimore, MD, with 80% remote telework eligibility.
Keyqualifications
- Six years of administrative staff or professional work experience (or equivalent education substitutions)
- Experience leading a major project or initiative
- Subject matter expertise in Federal health policies such as H.R. 1
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate minimum
- Valid Maryland motor vehicle operator's license for assigned duties
