Director Of Specialty Services
The Director of Specialty Services leads specialty service operations across a multi-state region. This role owns operational execution, documentation accuracy, and financial performance while ensuring strong coordination across departments and scalable systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead 24/7 specialty service operations across a multi-state region
- Ensure all work is executed, documented, and billed accurately
- Drive consistency in documentation, inventories, and job file quality
- Oversee workflow and ensure strong coordination across departments
- Enforce adherence to the TVR Playbook and disciplined use of Know How
- Implement and improve systems for inventory management, tracking, and documentation accuracy
- Partnering with HR to handle disciplinary or corrective action plans
- Build and develop a high-performing, accountable team
- Own hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development programs
- Conduct annual performance reviews and establish clear expectations
- Own divisional P&L performance, including cost control and profitability
- Review and approve job costs, invoices, and financial allocations
- Drive initiatives that improve efficiency, documentation accuracy, and margin
- Participate in annual planning and long-term strategic initiatives (3–4 years)
- Ensure documentation supports billing, claims, and carrier expectations, reducing disputes
- Maintain strong alignment with estimating, mitigation, reconstruction and accounting teams
Qualifications
- 7+ years of restoration experience in contents, specialty services, or related operations
- Managed a fast-paced, detail-driven environment 24/7 operation
- Attention to details with strong analytical and job auditing skills
- Strong understanding of documentation, billing, and operational workflows
- Experience working across departments and managing complexity
- Strong communication, problem-solving and system-thinking abilities
- IICRC certifications preferred (FSRT, OCT) in conjunction with OSHA guidelines
- Experience with DASH, Xactimate, ICAT or similar platforms
