Fleet Operations Manager Direct Hire | Baltimore, MD | $90,000 - $100,000 + Bonus Potential

Job Duties- Manage vessel movements, port operations, and agency activities while ensuring compliance with local, national, and international maritime regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vessel Masters, coordinating daily operations and supporting project readiness.
- Oversee vessel budgets, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and reconciliation activities.
- Develop and maintain vessel schedules, operational directives, forecasts, and performance reports.
- Partner with logistics, purchasing, engineering, compliance, permitting, and marine personnel teams to optimize vessel operations and port activities.
- Drive process improvements, standardization initiatives, and long-term operational planning to support business objectives and customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in vessel management, port operations, maritime operations, or as a licensed vessel officer.
- Strong analytical, budgeting, financial management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational management systems.
- Self-motivated professional who excels in collaborative, fast-paced environments with a strong customer-focused mindset.
- Cable vessel experience as a deck or engine officer preferred.
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- International shoreside travel as needed
