Summary: The Data Manager will be responsible for the overseeing and processing collection, management, analysis, reporting, and quality assurance of clinical and operational data related to Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services within Maryland correctional facilities. This position will also manage information/data systems for the purpose of collecting, processing, and reporting timely data reports to meet contractual and operational requirements. The Data Manager will also be responsible for tracking and reporting assessments, client file reviews, outcomes, and compiling information for the monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual reports.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:- The Data Manager maintains and oversees program databases, spreadsheets, referrals and tracking systems for accuracy, completeness, and processing.
- Inputs and distributes referrals, services provided, and tracks client movement within the programs.
- In collaboration with clinical team, facilitates tracking of transfers and discharges as to maintain accurate and timely service provision.
- Ensures records are updated, accurate, and submitted within required timelines.
- Identifies discrepancies, missing information, and reporting errors and reports to quality assurance and clinical departments.
- Tracks program metrics, service utilization, and compliance indicators.
- Prepares routine reports for state director, Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS) directly related to contract, House Bill 116 initiatives, operational outcomes, and client impact data.
- Analyzes program outcomes, performance metrics, and key performance indicators.
- Develops dashboards and reporting tools that support operational and clinical decision making.
- Generates monthly, quarterly, and annual reports required by contract and director.
