We are looking for a Production Technician to increase our capacity to manufacture our electronic medical devices and uphold our reputation for fast delivery times while maintaining an exceptionally high level of quality. In this role, you will contribute directly to product quality, reliability, and delivery timelines in a regulated medical device environment. This is an on‑site, hands‑on role based in our downtown Baltimore office and is ideal for someone who enjoys precision work, structured processes, and being part of a collaborative production team.
YouWill:
- Assemble electronic medical devices under a quality management system (soldering, circuit programming, and mechanical assembly)
- Conduct inspections on incoming and outgoing materials for quality and function
- Hit manufacturing targets under an established production schedule
- Complete manufacturing related documentation (inspection reports, work orders, repair investigations, etc.)
- Perform and diagnose repairs on medical device assemblies
- Complete other duties as assigned
- Must be able demonstrate ability to do high precision, detail‑oriented work
- Familiarity with electrical circuitry testing equipment
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and hard working
- Meticulousness related to completing manufacturing documentation
- Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
- Proficient in MS Office and computer skills
- Must be able to commute into IBT’s downtown Baltimore office daily
- Works well in a team environment
- 2 years of experience in electronic product manufacturing
- Prior experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Prior experience in medical device manufacturing
- Prior experience with electronic quality management systems (eQMS)
- Basic circuit debugging skills
- Experience working with a Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) software
- Experience in electronic hardware assembly
