Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Sparks Glencoe, MD
Pay Range: $18
Shift: 6:00am 2:30PM
What's the Job?- Perform routine setup, operation, minor routine maintenance, preventative maintenance (PM), and troubleshooting of moderately complex/automated manufacturing equipment.
- Control and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect in-process parts to ensure consistent quality and remove defective products, packaging, and components.
- Use gauges, jigs, and fixtures to measure close tolerances and ensure product specifications are met.
- Follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety policies.
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience in a regulated environment required.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team setting.
- Proficiency in basic arithmetic, reading, writing, and using PCs in a Windows environment.
