Job Title:
Production Worker
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking production workers to join our dynamic team. The role involves general production and labor duties, ensuring quality control, and assisting in the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities- Review job specifications to determine material requirements.
- Perform general production duties and heavy lifting.
- Observe machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunctions.
- Review product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance, ensuring quality requirements are met.
- Assist other operators in setting up machines and completing necessary tasks to meet deadlines.
- Maintain housekeeping in a clear and orderly fashion in the assigned area.
- Perform other duties related to the nature of the job as assigned on a temporary or permanent basis.
- At least 6 months of experience in production or labor, preferably with outdoor work experience.
- Ability to perform general labor tasks and work in a team environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a union environment is advantageous but not required.

Work EnvironmentWork in a small plant environment with wide open bays, exposed to elements. It is hot in summer and cold in winter. The team is small, consisting of 15-20 people, and is growing. The position is within a union environment, with a 45-day probationary period before conversion to full-time employee status. Monday through Thursday, work hours are 8 am to 4:20 pm, and on Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm, with lunch and break periods throughout the day.

This is a Contract position based out of Baltimore, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
