Production Associate Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Production Associate, where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Your attention to detail and ability to follow job specifications will be essential in meeting material requirements and maintaining product quality.
Responsibilities- Determine material requirements based on job specifications.
- Perform general production and labor duties, including heavy lifting.
- Observe machine operation to detect product defects or malfunctions.
- Review products for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance to ensure quality standards are met.
- Assist operators in machine setup and perform tasks to meet deadlines and product completion.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned areas, ensuring a clean and orderly environment.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, which may be temporary or permanent based on needs.
- Experience in general labor and production work.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and labor-intensive tasks.
- Attention to detail in observing machine operations and reviewing product quality.
Skills & Qualifications
- At least 6 months of production or laborer experience.
- Preferably have outdoor work experience.

Work EnvironmentWork in a non-climate-controlled, small plant environment with wide open bays exposed to the elements. Expect hot temperatures in the summer and cold conditions in the winter. You will be part of a small team of 15-20 members, and enjoy a unionized environment where after a 45-day probationary period, you can become a full-time employee with union benefits. Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 4:20 pm, and Friday from 8 am to 4 pm, with lunch and period breaks throughout the day.
JobType & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
