Systems Engineer
The Junior Field Services Specialist is responsible for coordinating and executing system deliveries, and system testing. This junior-level position will support the Ops Team by focusing on the hands-on management of simulation hardware, including inventory, testing, and logistics, to ensure the successful fielding of FENIX systems.
Role & Responsibilities- Conduct detailed inventory of all simulation equipment, utilizing appropriate Department of Defense (DoD) forms and procedures.
- Perform quality assurance checks on hardware components to ensure they meet quality standards before deployment.
- Securely pack and prepare hardware for shipment to various sites.
- Manage all shipping and receiving logistics, ensuring proper documentation and use of DoD forms.
- Maintain accurate configuration management records for all equipment and site inventories.
- Travel up to 25% to assist the team with site surveys, system installations, and other on-site events as required.
- Assist in maintaining all lab assets, ensuring they have the latest applicable software releases and security updates.
- Support the setup and execution of FENIX system demonstrations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, particularly with inventory and documentation.
- Basic technical aptitude and ability to test hardware functionality.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive problem-solver with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with DoD logistics, inventory, or shipping forms is a plus.
