As a CNC Machinist at Maritime Applied Physics Corporation, you will be integral to our manufacturing process, utilizing advanced CNC machinery to create precision components. This role is vital in supporting our mission to deliver cutting‑edge technology solutions across various sectors.

Salary Range: $18.12 - $46.36

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high‑quality components according to specifications.
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate machining processes.
  • Conduct regular maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers for precise measurements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to refine designs and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor production runs for quality assurance and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work completed.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of machining processes.
  • Proficiency in operating milling machines and CNC equipment, particularly Fanuc systems.
  • Familiarity with CAD software;
    Solid Works experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong skills in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Experience with forklifts is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
