Job DescriptionThe Maintenance Supervisor manages a team of employees and contractors performing a variety of activities to maintain capacity utilization and quality standards for reliable operations
The Maintenance Supervisor is on-site at Curtis Bay, Monday - Friday day shift and reports to the Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities- Drive the continuous effort to reduce the volume of emergency work while increasing the volume of predictive and preventative maintenance work.
- Supervise the execution of predictive and preventative maintenance plans with corresponding work instructions to ensure adherence.
- Adherence to the maintenance execution work process.
- Supervise the execution of maintenance work in the field. Strive to eliminate rework.
- Understand, interpret, and administer the union contract agreement.
- Aim to reduce maintenance costs and ensure timely reporting of expenditures.
- Strive to improve equipment uptime, quality, and speed rates.
- Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs and ladders over 100 ft.
- Ability to work in a high hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings.
- High school diploma
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
- Supervisory experience in industrial manufacturing and/or maintenance
- Experience with rotating and stationary equipment maintenance
- Experience with pipe and weldment fabrication
