Compensation for this position will be determined based on a combination of factors, including education, professional certifications, relevant experience, and other job‑related considerations permitted by law.
The General Laborer supports daily production operations by performing material handling, equipment support, housekeeping, and basic manufacturing tasks. This role contributes to maintaining safe, efficient, and high‑quality production processes within an industrial environment. The position plays a key role in ensuring operational readiness, cleanliness, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform material handling activities, including loading, unloading, and moving raw materials and finished goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of production and storage areas through housekeeping and waste disposal activities.
- Support production equipment setup, basic operation, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Conduct routine quality checks and assist with packaging and product preparation.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and standard operating instructions in an industrial environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to support quality and compliance requirements.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environments.
- Forklift operation experience or certification.
- Experience with material handling, packaging, or basic production support tasks.
- Basic familiarity with computer tools or Microsoft Office applications.
