Position Overview

Are you an experienced production professional with hands‑on bindery experience? We’re seeking a skilled Production Associate II to support our bindery and finishing operations. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in producing high‑quality photographic products through cutting, trimming, folding, mounting, and finishing processes while ensuring precision, quality, and workflow efficiency. This is not an entry‑level production role. We’re looking for someone who understands bindery workflows, equipment operation, and quality standards in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

What

You’ll Do
  • Perform bindery and finishing tasks according to SOPs and quality standards.
  • Operate bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, laminators, mounting equipment, and finishing machinery.
  • Set up, adjust, and maintain bindery machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform precision cutting, trimming, folding, and assembly of printed photographic products.
  • Conduct quality inspections and sign off on Tier 2 quality control checkpoints.
  • Identify and report unsafe practices immediately.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and material issues; elevate when necessary.
  • Maintain documentation for production‑related activities.
  • Moderate workflow by assigning and delegating production instructions as needed.
  • Handle higher‑complexity tasks such as equipment adjustments, repairs, and paper changes (Advanced Level II).
  • Manage VIP‑specific workflow handling.
  • Access customer orders and internal systems to resolve production issues.
  • Train Level I employees on bindery processes and equipment.
  • Follow lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement practices.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2+ years of bindery or print finishing experience required.
  • Experience operating bindery/finishing equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
  • Experience in a fast‑paced print or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to perform precision work with strong attention to detail.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Team‑oriented mindset.
