Job Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented Scientific Operations/ Manufacturing Technician III to support the manufacturing and assembly of clinical and commercial products in a regulated laboratory environment. This role involves operating production equipment, preparing and verifying raw materials, supporting in-process testing, and ensuring compliance with established quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and committed to maintaining operational excellence while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and assemble clinical and commercial products according to established procedures.
  • Operate production equipment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Weigh, measure, and verify raw materials to ensure correct formulations and batch specifications.
  • Assist with in-process testing and quality checks to confirm product compliance.
  • Support validation activities related to filtration, cleaning, sterilization processes, and associated equipment.
  • Prepare solutions, powders, and liquid mixtures required for production batches.
  • Handle the safe collection, removal, and disposal of chemicals, solvents, and laboratory waste in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Assist in training new team members and support onboarding activities as needed.
  • Provide operational support to leads and supervisors during daily production activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas that enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Follow established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures.
  • Adhere to all company safety, housekeeping, and compliance policies.
  • Work overtime when required to support business and production needs.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma with a technical certification in laboratory operations and at least 3 years of laboratory experience; OR
  • Associate's degree in a scientific discipline with 2–3 years of laboratory experience; OR
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with 1–2 years of laboratory experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective time management and the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
  • Comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing or laboratory environment.
  • Proficient in English with the ability to read procedures, interpret charts, follow diagrams, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
