Machine Operator
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the production bottling line to ensure products are filled, labeled, packaged, and prepared for shipment accurately and efficiently. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to SOPs, and the ability to maintain smooth production flow while identifying and resolving quality issues.
Key Responsibilities- Read, interpret, and follow job instructions for each production run.
- Operate and monitor bottling line equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.
- Load materials onto the production line and maintain continuous product flow.
- Perform general production activities to support daily manufacturing operations.
- Inspect products for defects, remove non-conforming materials, and report quality issues.
- Label, package, and palletize finished goods for storage and shipment.
- Complete production documentation accurately using paper-based and computerized systems.
- Monitor inventory levels of production materials and replenish supplies as needed.
- Submit timely restock requests to prevent production interruptions.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, and production guidelines.
- Assist with additional production-related tasks as assigned.
- Work overtime or extended hours when required to meet production goals.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or machine operation.
- Experience working on production, bottling, packaging, or assembly lines.
- Ability to operate and monitor production machinery efficiently.
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality standards.
- Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and SOPs.
- Experience with labeling, packaging, and palletizing products.
- Basic computer skills for production tracking and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defective products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Previous experience operating bottling line equipment.
- Experience in packaging, picker/packer, or general production roles.
- Machine operation experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with chemicals, test kits, or related products.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage workflow and materials effectively.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparks, MD.
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00/hr.
