* Key Responsibilities:

** 1.
** Tool and Equipment Management:
*** Issue tools, equipment, and MRO supplies to production and maintenance personnel as needed.
* Ensure that all tools and equipment are returned in good condition and accounted for.
* Perform routine inspections and maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
2**. Inventory Control:
*** Maintain accurate inventory records of all tools, equipment, and supplies within the crib.
* Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
* Track tool usage and life cycle to forecast replacement needs and avoid shortages.
3.
** Procurement and Stock Replenishment:
*** Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase requests to replenish stock as needed.
* Work with the procurement team to source and order new tools, equipment, and supplies.
* Ensure timely delivery and proper storage of incoming materials.
4.
** Documentation and Reporting:
*** Maintain detailed records of tool usage, inventory transactions, and maintenance activities.
* Generate reports on inventory levels, tool usage, and equipment status for management review.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding inventory management.
5.
** Process Improvement:
*** Identify opportunities to improve tool crib operations and implement best practices.
* Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to streamline tool distribution processes.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
6.
** Safety and Compliance:
*** Ensure that all tools and equipment are stored and handled in accordance with safety regulations.
* Conduct regular safety inspections of the crib and related storage areas.
* Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the tool crib and across the manufacturing floor.
7.
** Customer Service:
*** Provide excellent customer service to all production and maintenance personnel.
* Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to tool and equipment distribution.
* Assist with training employees on proper tool usage and maintenance procedures.**.

Qualifications:

***
* Education and Experience:

*** High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in inventory management or related field preferred.
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in tool crib operations, inventory management, or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
** Skills and

Competencies:

*** Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., CMMS, ERP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Knowledge of tools, equipment, and MRO supplies used in manufacturing.
* Basic mechanical skills and understanding of tool maintenance procedures. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
