Maintenance Mechanic – Baltimore Plant

DAP has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Mechanic at our Baltimore Plant. The role involves repair, maintenance, and enhancement of equipment to support our 24/7 operation. While the position requires flexibility to work any shift, the current opening is for the 2nd shift (Monday to Thursday, 3:00 pm to 1:00 am). Overtime is available and required, and associates earn double‑time pay for all hours worked in excess of 50 hours in a standard work week.

Pay Rate:
Starting at $31.83 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Repair manufacturing, packaging, and material handling equipment.
• Perform general plant maintenance to keep the facility operating smoothly.
• Assist with production duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of maintenance processes, industrial safety, and manufacturing terminology; ability to use hand and power tools.
• Experience in maintenance crafts and mechanical repair (electrical, plumbing, welding), electrical troubleshooting, reading and interpreting electrical drawings and blueprints, and shop mathematics.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for periods up to 3 hours.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently with little or no supervision, and capable of multitasking and prioritizing daily tasks.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, decision‑making, and communication skills.
