Pipefitter
We are seeking a highly skilled Pipefitter with extensive experience in marine, commercial nuclear, or petro/chemical industries. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to interpret ship piping drawings and have proficiency in fitting carbon steel, CRES, and copper nickel piping.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret ship piping drawings.
- Fit carbon steel, CRES, and copper nickel piping.
- End prep piping by hand or using Portsmouth Machine.
- Install pipe hangers.
- Read a ruler using inches and tenths.
- Prep and fit-up backing rings.
- Clean cut/break pipe with a grinder.
- Hand prep V bevels.
- Fabricate various details and assemblies from drawings.
- Bend pipe from templates and use a hand bender.
Essential Skills
- Five years or more experience as a First Class Pipefitter in marine, commercial nuclear, or petro/chemical industries.
- Ability to read and interpret ship piping drawings.
- Experience with carbon steel, CRES, and copper nickel piping.
- Proficient in using hand tools and Portsmouth Machine for end prep.
- US Citizenship required

This is a contract position based out of Baltimore, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
